Case study – Inglewood/Texas A BUSHkids Children and Family Facilitator (CFF) lives in Stanthorpe

and supports the towns of Inglewood and Texas, travelling to both towns weekly. There was a delay in recommencing face-to-face services early 2022 due to the pandemic, but this was also an op portunity to continue virtual delivery of parenting programs such as 1-2-3 Magic ® . The attendance of fathers during this time increased and one dad, who is a farmer, attended his session from his tractor while having a break from harvesting. Another day he joined from under the shade of the tree out in the field. This father provided such positive feedback: “I really enjoyed working with Julie, completing the 1-2-3 Magic ® course. Julie was so flexible with meeting times and conducting the course over Zoom worked well for me. I found the course extremely beneficial, and it has really helped understanding what’s going on in the young minds of my kids. Understanding and gaining the knowledge behind why they act the way they do and how to manage that behaviour has been a game changer. Can’t thank BUSHkids enough. Highly recommend this course to all parents with young children.”
