Canning Downs Station: some Darling Downs memories
Dr Wuth’s journey to Dalby took him to the northern plains of the Darling Downs but, as Canning Downs station appears later in this book as part of German settlers’ efforts at grapegrowing and wine-making, these images give some impression of life on the Downs in the late 19th century.
