Superyacht Buoy Mooring Trial Currently under development, the Brisbane Superyacht Mooring Buoy Trial is managed by Maritime Safety Queensland (MSQ). Pre-booking arrangements are required and the site of where the buoy will be located in the Brisbane River will be determined by the size and tonnage of the vessel and other criteria.

Being based in the Brisbane River utilising the superyacht mooring buoy is a truly unique experience for a superyacht and guests, providing stunning city backdrops and access to many attractions using a tender to travel up and down the river. The furthest point up the Brisbane River for a sizeable vessel is currently the Captain Cook Bridge with a navigable clearance height of 12.7m LAT. Brisbane City Council’s River Access Network website outlines the river hubs available to smaller recreational vessels along the riverfront.
