Goodwill Cup 2022 • NAVIGATION AWARDS • JUNIOR and SENIOR

Optimist – Green Fleet Series The 61st Goodwill Cup Navigation Event was held on 5th and 6th November between RQYS and Southport Yacht Club. There was a total of 35 boats between both clubs, however on the day two withdrew due to mechanical issues while the rest of the fleet enjoyed the pleasant 15kn southeasterly conditions. The event started near Horseshoe Bay and went clockwise around Peel Island, finishing near Blakesley’s anchorage. The fleet then continued to Canaipa for Commodore’s drinks and dinner. Sunday morning was breakfast ashore organised by John and Merija Higgins aboard Harbor-Nating and the announcement of results.
